We’ve been seeing the launches of smart watches like Apple Watch and the Samsung S2 smart watch all along, wondering when India would come up with its own version. As India’s answer to the smartwatch race, Titan has come up with the JUXT smartwatch, in partnership with global technology giant HP which it unveiled just a few days back.
It doesn’t look like smart watches from Samsung, Apple etc. but Titan says through JUXT, it aimed at providing connectivity while maintaining the essence of a classic watch. The best part is, it can last for 5 days on a single charge.
Appearance
It looks pretty nice for a classic watch feel, but what distinguishes it as a smart watch is an added OLED panel to show notifications. The timepiece features a honeycomb dial, 3D indices and a leather strap. It is styled like a Chronograph without a big colorful touch screen. The watch alerts its wearer to incoming calls, emails, texts, social media notifications, and shows the time in five pre-set time zones. It also has a basic pedometer tracking function.
The Titan Juxt will be available in Rose Gold, Stainless Steel and Titanium cases.
Compatibility
It is compatible with smartphones having Android 4.4 and iOS 8.1 and above and can do basic tracking.
Cost
The smartwatch is priced pretty decent compared to other smartwatches in the market right now.
Stainless steel model – Rs.15,995
Rose Gold model – Rs.17,995
Titanium model – Rs.19,995
How to order
The JUXT smartwatch is available for pre-order from leading online stores like Titan E-stores, Myntra etc. Look out for special discount coupons for Myntra from here on your purchase.
