The tea sourced by Teabox is orthodox long leaves, instead of commercial tea dust manufactured by traditional CTC method. The tea is vacuum packed and sealed in opaque wraps, and procured and shipped to customers within 48 hours of production, cutting short the traditional retail storage period of 3–6 months.
